In the south-eastern tip of the island, at the district of Skala, lies Ostria´s House. Approximately 3 Km from Ratzakli and Ostria´s House is Skala, a cosmopolitan village where you can find taverns, restaurants, cafes and bars, souvenir shops and car/bike rentals. The beach of Skala which is the natural extension of Kaminia beach, is also a famous beach while there is also the option of Kateleios, known for its taverns and fish specialties. The capital of Kefalonia, Argostoli is approximately 30 minutes by bus or car.
